Refresh outdated content

If content was deleted from a site but still comes up in Google Search results, the page description or cache might be outdated.

Request to refresh outdated web pages

At the bottom, select Request refresh.

On the "Page" tab, enter the URL (web address) of the page that has the outdated content you want to refresh.

Select Submit.Request refreshRequest to update images

Part 1: Copy the image link addressSearch for the image you want to refresh at images.google.com.

In the search results, right-click the image thumbnail.

Select Copy link address.

Tip: Different browsers may have different names to copy link locations.

Part 2: Request removal from Google Search resultsAt the bottom, select Request refresh.

Select New request Image.

From image search results, select Enter Copy link address.In the search results URL box, paste the link address.

Select Submit.Request refresh

Tip: To check the status of your request, go to Refresh outdated content in Google Search Console.
